Chu Cheng’s Fellowship sharing topic is “Temptation”. I’m so nervous and scared of sharing. I hope I can escape from fellowship because of the fear in sharing. My barrier in Mandarin makes me scare to speak. I pray. God says we cannot stop our gathering with brother and sister in church. So, I still go to the fellowship. God won’t let us with empty hearted. All the brother and sister shared about the temptation that they faced. Some have win over it, some still struggled and some still learning to overcome it. While listening to their sharing, I get a lot of words from God. I manage to think of my temptation. My temptation starts in my mind. I’ve my serving now in sharing, song leading, teaching Sunday school and choir. There’s always a lot of voice telling me to quit and to let go everything, why must I take so much effort to do, why must I trouble myself, nobody will appreciated it, why much I sing when my voice so soft. I have a moment of struggle. Thank God, I’ve brother and sister to listen to me whenever I’ve such thinking. Whenever we face temptation because of the mind, we need people to uplift us and we need God’s word too to make us bold and strong. Memorizing bible verses will help us to remember God’s words. Let us always remind ourselves that God is faithful. He will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear. And when we are tempted, God will provide a way out so that we can stand up. We must win over temptation. Like the children songs “靠主耶稣神名”， we will have victory. Sometimes, I also fall and I’m not a perfect people. Let us grow together. We’re children of God. Learn to share with someone you trust. Have devotion or moments with God. Attend services and fellowship regularly. We can have victory over temptation. Amen.
